Why we only do this

Bayou Metal Roofing exists because Calcasieu Parish keeps getting hit, and too many roofs here get rebuilt with the same materials that failed the first time. We picked one specialty, standing seam and metal panel roofing, and built the business around doing it right instead of adding on a dozen other trades to chase more revenue. If a job needs flat commercial membrane roofing or gutter work unrelated to a reroof, we'll say so and point you elsewhere.

We quote every job on-site after measuring the actual roof, not off a phone estimate based on square footage you guess at. A written quote comes before any contract, and if something changes once we're up there, tearing off decking and finding rot, for example, we call and show you before doing anything that changes the price.

Built for this parish, not a generic spec

Every panel system we install gets specified to the wind load this area actually carries, not a minimum-code number pulled from a catalog. Clip spacing, fastener pattern, and underlayment choice all get set to hold up against what a Gulf storm does to a roof, because we've watched what happens to roofs that were built to save a few dollars on hardware.

Insurance and licensing

Ask and we'll show you proof of insurance before any work starts. Louisiana requires roofing contractors above a certain project value to hold a state contractor's license; ask for ours before you sign anything.
